Beizhong Company's scribed cast iron surface plate is used for: serving as a measurement benchmark for inspecting geometric tolerances such as flatness, parallelism, and straightness of mechanical parts. It can also be used for scribing, riveting, welding, grinding process machining, and measurement of general parts and precision parts. The working surface is engraved with lines, making it convenient for measurement, alignment of benchmarks, and other uses during work, offering greater practicality and ease of use.
Material of the scribed cast iron surface plate: High-strength cast iron HT200-300, with a working surface hardness of HB170-240. After two artificial treatments (artificial annealing at 600°C–700°C and natural aging for 2–3 years), the product exhibits stable accuracy and excellent wear resistance.
Specifications of the scribed cast iron surface plate: 200*200---2000*4000mm. Accuracy of the scribed cast iron surface plate: Complies with the national standard metrological verification regulations, divided into four grades: 0, 1, 2, and 3. The scribed cast iron surface plate must be installed and adjusted before use. Working on an uninstalled or improperly adjusted cast iron surface plate is meaningless. Non-professional installation and adjustment of the cast iron surface plate is an unregulated operation that may damage the structure of the plate, cause deformation, and render it unusable. Therefore, before use, professional personnel must install and adjust the cast iron surface plate. Non-professional installation and adjustment is a violation of regulations and must not be used under any circumstances.
After installation and adjustment of the scribed cast iron surface plate, the working surface should be wiped clean. Only after confirming that there are no issues should it be used. During use, avoid excessive collisions between workpieces and the working surface of the cast iron plate to prevent damage. The weight of the workpiece must not exceed the rated load of the cast iron plate, as this may reduce work quality, damage the structure of the plate, cause deformation, and render it unusable.
The scribed cast iron surface plate is an indispensable workbench for scribing, measurement, riveting, welding, and tooling processes. It can also serve as a mechanical test bench, among other uses. 1. To prevent deformation of the scribed cast iron surface plate, during installation, supports should be placed at the main support points. When supporting, adjust the working surface of the plate to a horizontal plane as much as possible. 2. To prevent permanent deformation of the plate, after inspection or scribing is completed, remove the workpiece promptly and avoid leaving it on the plate for extended periods. 3. After use, promptly clean the working surface of the plate and apply a layer of anti-rust oil. If it will not be used for an extended period, it is best to apply a layer of grease and then cover it with a sheet of white paper. 4. It is recommended to use a wooden cover specifically made for the plate. When the plate is not in use, cover it with the lid. Avoid allowing water droplets to come into contact with the cast iron plate.
